Whether it’s riding a bicycle across the Australian outback, or solo-sailing a small sailboat for thousands of miles, a sense of adventure keeps Hollan moving ahead, looking forward to each new day with wonder, and anticipation of the interesting places and people to be found just over the horizon.

What inspired Clucked?

While I have contributed a few stories over the years to magazines such as Latitudes and Attitudes, Clucked is my first novel.

While Clucked is a work of fiction, some of the book is based on actual events. The rest, including Clawson’s demented pursuits, are simply a product of my own twisted imagination. I’ll leave it up to the reader to decide which is which!

The Kindness of Strangers

Throughout the novel, the reader will find everyday heroes helping other ordinary folks in need, regardless of their differences.
